ABOUT US
The Tweed Valley Mountain Bike Riders was established in 2012 to advocate for a legal mountain bike riding area in the Tweed region.
In 2013 the Uki Waste Water Treatment Plant was put forward as a potential resource and the club has worked in conjunction with the Tweed Shire Council since then to bring a publicly accessible mountain bike facility to the area.
In 2020 the TVMTBR and Tweed Shire Council signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a working group for the establishment and management of the proposed track.
Work on the new trail area is expected to start in 2022.
